About the Rome Crux
The Crux delivers Rome's signature feel of edge-to-edge power and side-to-side flexibility in a well-priced, mid-range snowboard binding that is ready to tackle every feature on the mountain.
Built for everyday heelside power, the Crux contains Rome's Fast Entry system for hassle-free and efficient entry and exit. A pre-curved ladder on the straps keeps them out of the way to make stepping in quick and easy.
The Crux also features Rome's Pureflex ankle straps which are medium flexing in a minimalist design. These toe straps have been built for simplicity; their design is lightweight and versatile and provides a secure fit to your boots.
Rome's AsymWrap Fixed Heel Hoop uses three points of heel hoop connection and Rome's UnderWrap concept at a single point on the medial side of the toe. This allows the Crux to smoothly flex side to side, while still laying down a direct edge-to-edge response. The platform focuses on a smooth, flexible feel for riders who like to surf freeride terrain as well as riders who like to tweak it out and hit freestyle features.
