The 2021 Rossignol Experience 80Ci skis are the new intermediate offering in Rossignol’s all mountain range. These are built to inspire confidence all over the hill, with a great blend of on piste carving ability, low speed manoeuvrability and an 80mm waist width for tackling mixed snow conditions . Rossignol have fully revamped the already highly regarded Experience range for the 2021 season, the new range features more progressive shapes and carefully chosen technologies to create a range that is more versatile and more enjoyable than ever
The Experience 80 skis are for those that are perhaps coming off beginner and rental skis and want to start exploring the resort and developing carving and other performance techniques. Rossignol have selected a lightweight core which is reinforced by LCT carbon technology to give a ski that can perform at all speeds in a range of terrain.
LCT is Rossignol’s race derived concept which sees a full length strip support the core and ensure consistent and predictable turns. The combination of camber underfoot and camber in the tip and tail makes it easier to enter and exit turns, whilst also providing a stable platform to initiate performance manoeuvres.
These skis are best suited to intermediate skiers who spend the majority of their time on piste, but want a ski that can handle variable terrain and fresh snow when the opportunity presents itself.
LCT HD Core - A carbon rail runs the length of the ski to give an active flex which supports every stage of the turn. Surrounding this stringer is a high density composite core
Air Tip - This is an exclusive Rossignol technology, the tip has a honeycomb construction, therefore most of it is filled with air. This focuses the weight in the centre of the ski which maximises control and power beneath the skiers feet
VAS - Vibration dampener in the tip to give a more stable ride
All Terrain Rocker - 70% Camber/30% Tip Rocker. A long and progressive tip rocker increases soft snow versatility and playfulness while the strong camber zone gives hard snow rebound and precision
Central Sidewall - A sidewall section in the central portion of the ski provides grip and absorbs vibration. Cap construction in the tip and tail allow for skidded and lower energy turns
Progressive Sidecut - The rounded tip profiles reduces tip catch and keeps the ski nimble all over the mountain
