The Dreamcatcher 75 skis are the narrowest, most piste-orientated skis in Roxy's range, and they've been given a fresh core design. It consists of a blend of lively beech wood and expanded polyurethane foam for the best of both worlds - the smooth wood core ride quality and the lightweight dampening effects of foam.
These are designed for the rider who wants to lay down perfectly smooth arcs on piste and ski as many vertical meters as possible! The Dreamcatcher 75 skis have an All-Mountain rocker profile with an early-rise in the tip. This moves the contact point back down the ski and frees up the tip so that turns are more fluid, easier to initiate, and more intuitive. This versatile profile gives them plenty of float and a smooth, stable ride across all types of terrain.
The sidecut shape on these skis is particularly special; Roxy have blended two different curve geometries to create a ski which can make a variety of turn shapes, and ski easily at all speeds. Due to the soft to medium flex of the ski, we would recommend the Dreamcatcher 75 skis mainly for beginner up to committed intermediate riders.
Roxy are one of the few brands out there that cater only to women, and because of this they know how to create a range that is perfect for female skiers, their team consists of some of the best athletes in the world including Sochi Gold medallist, Dara Howell. The Roxy ski range is all about pushing limits - it is centred around the adrenaline that comes from freeride and freestyle skiing, and Roxy skis are designed to simply perform day after day so you can effectively transfer your passion for skiing onto the snow!
All-Mountain Rocker - Suitable for all snow conditions and any terrain - a versatile rocker camberline for skiers who want to go everywhere
Early Rise Tip, Flat Tail - Rocker in the tip prevents edge catching and gives float off piste, camber underfoot gives stability, grip, and power on piste
Dual Sidecut - Two radii of sidecut blended together, this shape allows for all turn shapes and keeps the skis stable at high speed
Partial Wood Core - A blend of beech wood with expanded polyurethane foam allows the ski to retain a smooth wood-flex feel with reduced weight and added dampening
Semi Cap Construction - All the benefits of sidewall under f-foot, with cap construction at the tip and tail - this construction is lightweight, durable, and easy to ski
I bought these skis for my wife and after some initial confusion regarding bindings, they've been great. Excellent service from the team at Absolute too - it's a breath of fresh air to be able to talk to educated product specialists rather than just call takers (ahem, Snow+Rock).
