This Map Case is fully transparent, waterproof and secure yet easy to open and close. The transparently of this case means you can use both sides of your map without having to take it out. In addition, there's a watertight zip lock.
The included lanyard is a two in one addition to the map case. Not only does it allow you to be hands free, it's a distance lanyard which has a scale pattern built in. The distance lanyard has two scales on it; 1:25, and 1:50, which facilitates to measure the distance of your trails. You're also able to attach the case to your backpack or kayak for example, by the small corner openings.
You can use this case in weather as cold as -20ºC, meaning the map is flexible. It makes it a great addition to treacherous environments where you may have no phone service at all and have to rely on a traditional map.
