The Alpinist Alu Step-In Crampon from Salewa gives you a low weight alpine crampon designed for welted footwear and ski boots, from adult down to junior sizes.

The low profile keeps the foot closer to the rock or ice giving you greater control while the sharpened aluminium points make short work of hard ice. Tool free adjustment in the base makes it quick and convenient to size. These crampons are designed for use with sturdy alpine footwear with a metal toe bail and a plastic lever lock system in the heel. A single strap adjustment holds the crampon in place and prevents accidental loss should it become separated from your footwear.

Underfoot, twelve aluminium points provide traction over icy routes. The aluminium construction keeps the weight low making these crampons ideal for fast moving alpinists on back-country ski tours or short mountaineering trips over ground with little contact with rock. The two parts are designed to fit together - points inward - to be stowed safely when not in use.
