About the Salewa Litetrek Pro 2

The Salewa Litetrek Pro II tent gives you a versatile 3-season mountaineering shelter with a proven design made to withstand the challenges of a harsh alpine environment.

The sturdy semi-geodesic, double-wall construction allows for full use of space and ensures an optimal balance of weather protection and ventilation. A 100% self-supporting design, the Litetrek Pro pitches without problem on rocky terrain, or alpine sites where there is not enough space to set up with guy lines and pegs. Alternatively, anchor points can be extended for more flexibility - for example on snowy terrain.

Inside you'll find room for 2-persons with a front vestibule providing space for extra gear and meal prep. An easy-to-use extension solution gives you extra porch room if required. Ventilation is regulated via a rear panel with zippers (operated from both inside and out) allowing you to adjust the fresh air supply and prevent humidity.

A tear-resistant 20D ripstop nylon rainfly keeps the pack weight low with a silicone/PU-coating delivering a 3,000 mm water column. The floor is made of robust PU-coated 70D ripstop nylon with 10,000 mm water column. The 66D ripstop polyester inner tent features a mesh and mosquito net entrance.

Optimised for use at altitude, the Litetrek Pro series has been wind tested to a minimum rating of 90km/h. Ultralight aluminium poles provide structural integrity and keep the pack weight low while reinforced Dyneema guy-lines add stability when camping in exposed terrain. In addition, Salewa's 3S Speed Set Up Solution uses short, flat sleeves and hooks that let you set up fast and effectively in one pitch. The rainfly can be pitched as a minimalist shelter where conditions allow.

A repair kit lets you fix minor rips and tears on the go while the included footprint helps extend the life of your groundsheet, providing an extra layer of protection from groundwater, mud, rocks, and other debris.
