The North-X Ice Axe from Salewa features a highly engineered construction with a steel adze and blade. A 7075 aluminium shaft, ergonomic grip, and anchor leash give you a dependable climbing tool with maximum comfort. The North-X is fit for use whether you're a recreational alpine walker looking for extra stability or professional mountaineer engaging a challenging technical route.
The shaft includes a synthetic grip that protects from the cold, providing great handling even in lower temperatures and damp conditions. The modular design allows the hot forged steel head to be replaced should the need arise.
