About the Salomon First Call

The 2020 Salomon First Call is a unique snowboard, shaped by Wolle Nyvelt and designed to offer maximum freestyle performance in the deep snow. Wind lips, park and powder, this technical board has a lot to offer any off-piste hungry freestyle riders.

Salomon's Rock Out camber utilises flat camber between the feet for stability, cambered under foot for pop and rocker at the tip & tail for a fun & forgiving ride. This means you get a full 3-level camber experience that does the hard work for you, allowing you to concentrate on your lines, set-up, turns and jumps.

Built using the Aspen Strong Select core and Popster construction the snowboard retains a predictable flex and offers a natural snap and powerful pop all the while saving on weight. Ghost basalt stringers running the length of the board add incredible stability in uneven terrain and control at speed. They also maintain manoeuvrability at slow speeds for a relaxed ride.

A Quadralizer sidecut makes the board easy to initiate turns and makes changing direction effortless during the transition between edges. Salomon's Popster technology will give you that extra bit of energy you need to boost bigger than your mates off of any feature and the ABS Sidewall's will be there to give you a nice soft landing acting as suspension and improving durability too.
