About the QST Lumen 99
The QST Lumen 99 is a women's specific all-mountain ski from Salomon's beloved QST range. This range of Ski is packed with technology and designed to break down the barrier between piste and backcountry and allow riders to take on whatever terrain they can find!
At the wider end of the range the Lumen 99 model is aimed primarily at the more experience skiers focused on exploring the entire mountain and are comfortable on groomed slopes as they are in hunting for deeper snow. The wider waist, combined with confidence-boosting stability thanks to the integration of Salomon's exclusive Cork Amplifier technology in the tip that more advanced skiers will appreciate on groomers as this ski will perform well on charging carves at speed.
When delving into more varied conditions, the rockered tip will aid smoother turn initiation, better flotation & easily roll edge to edge and allow the ski to cruise over crud, slush and soft snow. The tips are also lightweight and manoeuvrable at speed thanks to the tapered shape, where the ski will also display strong stability thanks to traditional camber underfoot and a new tip-to-tail carbon powered C/FX layer takes this supercharged construction to a level, for increased power and edge grip.
Whether you are doing laps in back-bowl powder, dropping down a steep line or flying down your favorite groomers, the QST LUMEN 99 gives you the confidence to always push your limits.
- All-Terrain Rocker - Rockered tip for easy turn initiation and maximum floatation, camber underfoot to improve stability at speed and edge grip on hard pack, subtle tail rocker for smooth turn exits
- Cork Damplifier - Cork is three times more absorbing than Koroyd. Using it in the tip of the ski enables a high level of vibration absorption and dampening with even less weight
- Full Light Poplar Woodcore - A full Poplar wood core running from tip to tail offers a performing yet very light ski
- Full Sandwich Sidewalls - The best way to transfer power onto the snow, a full sidewall ensures turns are accurate and strong
- Carbon Powered C/FX - The patented and exclusive C/FX technology is elevated to the next level of performance by being supercharged with two times more carbon and balanced with basalt to keep its superior dampening and vibration absorption properties
- Ti Binding Reinforcement - Titanium laminate in the centre of ski, improving the torsional stiffness and overall stability as well as helping power transmission to the edges of the ski when riding on hard snow
