About the Salomon QST Lux 92

Whether you’re dropping into powder-filled back bowls, cruising your favorite groomer, or stepping out of bounds with a setup for spring touring, the multi-talented QST 92 has all the technology you need to access the entire mountain

Measuring 92mm at the waist, this ski sits in the all-mountain category with its wide, rockered tips and subtlety rockered tails it can easily dip off the side of the piste and glide over the deeper snow to be found between trees or under chairlifts. That rocker helps turn initiations stay smoothly simple, too, along with camber underfoot to keep the hard pack performance impressive all over.

When charging at high speeds on groomers, the 92 holds up well thanks to a full poplar Woodcore construction that maximizes liveliness, stability, and ski-to-snow contact while filtering vibrations. tip-to-tail carbon-powered C/FX layer takes the supercharged construction to the next level for increased power and edge grip. This is done by weaving Flax fibers along with Carbon, it allows the ski to reap the benefits associated with carbon fiber - a lightweight increase in torsional stiffness - while dampening and smoothing the ride quality.

The stability of this ski is further improved with the use of Cork Damplifier technology which is exclusive to Salomon and reduced vibrations and chatter to improve stability.

Lightweight but power-driven, the QST 92 shines as conditions change throughout the day, without wearing you out. This ski is suitable for a range of skier abilities due to its playful flex yet dampness and smoothness at speed.

Features Include
  • Double Sidewalls tech with Cork Damplifier- ABS construction running around the entire sidewall adds strength and increases ski/snow contact, the cork reduces vibrations
  • CFX Superfiber - A unique fiber layer consisting of Carbon and Flax woven together, running tip-to-tail. It combines the incredible strength, stability, and minimal weight of carbon fiber with the increased level of dampening and vibration absorption of the flax. It's patented and exclusive to Salomon
  • All-Terrain Rocker - Rockered tip for easy turn initiation and maximum floatation, camber underfoot to improve stability at speed and edge grip on hard pack, subtle tail rocker for smooth turn exits
  • Hook Free Taper - The Ski has a sidecut which tapers in the tip and tail at their extremities, the result is easy turn initiation and maneuverability, especially in soft snow
  • Full Poplar woodcore-A full Woodcore construction maximizes liveliness, stability and ski-to-snow contact while filtering vibrations.
  • Ti Power Platform - Titanium laminate in the center of the ski, improving the torsional stiffness and overall stability as well as helping power transmission to the edges of the ski when riding on hard snow
