About the Salomon Trigger

The 2021 Salomon Trigger snowboard bindings are built to soften landings for riders who take their freestyle all over the mountain. These bindings have enough suspension to handle charging steep sections, popping off side hits and airing over mounds or humps anywhere on the mountain.

The Trigger highback is a simplified, modern asymmetrical binding with an ergonomic design. This design offers great adaptable flexibility for both tweaking and support, the padded highback will provide awesome comfort and support as your ride. The highback also comes with 2 positions of forward lean ready adjusted and can be mounted and ridden straight out of the box. No fuss, no frills just pure performance!

Another exclusive feature of the Trigger highback is the HB Filter, this HB filter is capable of absorbing unwanted shock and vibrations reducing leg and foot fatigue for a more comfortable ride allowing you to charge harder. With Salomon's Blaster technology, the Trigger has a Freestyle Jib Joint between the heel pad and base plate which provides extremely high levels of shock absorption, provides a smooth feel and increases the level of control between boot and board.

Salomon have included their most efficient systems of padding in the Trigger; the SCS and Full EVA pad. This technology in the heel of the footbed is designed to absorb as much energy as possible, providing softer landings and efficient transition into your edges. A 2.5 degree canted footbed helps promote a better stance and adds pop power as well as supreme edge control.

Keeping you locked in place is a 3D Asym Supreme ankle strap, this asymmetrical design increases the support on the outside and is extremely tweakable on the inside while achieving perfect anatomical shape to prevent any pressure points on the boots. The Locked-Up toe straps are designed to be extremely durable to form perfectly around the toes of your boot for great hold while the speedy aluminium buckle ensures strapping and unstrapping is quicker than ever and MicroMax strap adjustments allow you to optimise the fit to your boot.

All of these features combine to create a no fuss ready to run snowboard binding that allows the rider to charge around the mountain all day, hitting any freestyle feature they want, with maximum comfort and cushioning while the forgiving medium flex will help progress your style to get the most of any situation you are in!
