About the Sandbox Classic 2.0 Low Rider
Sandbox has always been known for it's classic peaked helmet shape which is recognisable in all sports. Sandbox have evolved the Classic Low Rider into the Classic 2.0 Low Rider. This helmet has the same shape you've come to know and love but has been given some improvements to make it more comfortable and more user friendly.
The biggest change on the Classic 2.0 Low Rider is the addition of vents for the first time ever. This new Undercover Venting combines both a slim and stylish front vent with goggle compatible venting under the helmets peak. These two sets of vents link up to internal channels in the helmet which draw air through the helmets shell and out of two vents at the back. This allows the vents to stay low profile and keep the Classic Low Rider shape whilst ensuring you stay comfortable and fog free!
The Classic 2.0 Low Rider uses Sandbox's Soft-Core EVA lining with an ABS shell. This is not certified for snowsports use but it is one of our most popular ski and snowboard helmets thanks to it's really low weight and low profile fit. All you need to do is be ready to hit the slopes, chuck on your favourite beanie and you're ready to shred! When the snow's all gone you can still use the Classic 2.0 Low rider on the water as it is fully watersports certified.
Please be aware that this is not classed as a 'helmet' as it does not meet the CE certification for concrete, bike and snow sports. It does meet the standards for watersports (EN 1385).
