About the Scarpa Mont Blanc Pro GTX

The classic mountaineering boot has evolved. Inspired by the late Ueli Steck, the Mont Pro GTX combines technological advancements with a classical design to form a new generation of all-mountain, mixed-terrain alpine boot.

A rugged 3mm Perwanger leather upper provides exceptional water and wear resistance. It is constructed around the exceptional NAG last, which was co-developed with legendary mountaineer Ueli Steck, and provides sublime comfort for technical use with a focus on climbing power over the toe box for precise foot positioning on rock and ice. A Gore-Tex membrane adds exceptional weather proofing and breathability.

The last is combined with Scarpa's Sock Fit technology. The tongue, flex point and collar are made from a singular piece of S-Tech Schoeller elastic fabric. This results in a fit as snug as a sock, allowing you to be at one with the boot.

A Vibram Essential AC outsole features aggressive lugs that provide traction on both snow and saturated terrain. Shock absorbing PU inserts on the heel and toe-box differentiate in thickness for improved stability and shock absorbing capacity. Two TPU inserts can be found on both the toe and heel, allowing the Mont Blanc Pro GTX to be compatible with both automatic and semi-automatic crampons.

Lined with Gore-Tex’s Performance Comfort Lining, your feet will remain dry regardless of the weather. Moreover, a generously broad rand runs around the outside of the boot and over the toe box to provide protection of both the upper and your foot.

Integrated into the tongue of the boot is an elasticated snap button gaiter, which keeps unwanted scree and ice out of the inner. Scarpa’s Flex Point technology is integrated into the heel of the Mont Blanc. It gives the ankles complete freedom of movement for comfort on even the steepest of terrain while maining support.

Speed lacing is incorporated into the the design of the Mont Blanc. The system allows for optimal adjustment of the internal volume of the boot, facilitating the perfect wrapping of the foot. Fast and simple, it allows for an optimised fit of the foot for improved confidence in your feet.
