About the Scarpa Ribelle Lite HD

Constructed on the renowned last of the Ribelle boot family, the Lite HD is the true mountaineering boot for budding alpinists. The upper is constructed with Scarpa's Sock Fit technology. The tongue, flex point and collar are made from a singular piece of S-Tech Schoeller elastic fabric. This results in a fit as snug as a sock, allowing you to be at one with the boot.

Synthetic materials are used in conjunction with one another to form the exterior of the upper. The man-made leather-like fabric provides unprecedented durability and doesn't absorb water when oversaturated like the natural counterpart. Additionally, the lighter-than-leather material has exceptional memory properties that once lasted, will hold its shape regardless of wear.

A Vibram Pentax Precision III sole features aggressive lugs that provide traction on both saturated ground and snow. The outsole is constructed with Vibram Mont rubber compound, which offers sublime reliability in subzero temperatures found at high altitude. Additionally, a PU rubber rand encompasses the toe area of the upper for improved wear resistance.

Incorporated into the heel is a TPU crampon insert, which allows the Ribelle to be compatible with semi-automatic (C2) crampons. Semi-automatic crampons have become a staple for alpinists who value a low-weight high-performance ice tool that can be used in conjunction with the Ribelle.

Hyperdry is incorporated into the construction of the Ribelle Lite for waterproof performance. The patented lamination process bonds a waterproof breathable membrane to the external outer material of the shoe. With no seams or entry point, it blocks water from entering the Ribelle Lite, keeping your feet warm and dry.

An autofit collar ensures complete adaptability and dexterity of the upper, while special padding reduces stress between the Achilles and the boot. This ensures all-day comfort while reducing hotspots on the ankle, thus preventing blisters.

Scarpa’s Flex Point technology is integrated into the heel of the Ribelle. It provides the ankles with complete freedom of movement for comfort on even the steepest of terrain while maintaining support.

Speed lacing is incorporated into the design of the Ribelle Lite. The system allows for optimal adjustment of the internal volume of the boot, facilitating the perfect wrapping of the foot. Fast and simple, it allows for an optimised fit of the foot for improved confidence in your feet.

The Ribelle has been designed with summer alpine requirements in mind. Low weight combined exceptional comfort is supplemented with technical semi-automatic crampon compatibility. The result is a boot that equips alpinists to tackle the highest peaks.
