About the Scott Symbol 2 Plus

The Scott Symbol 2 Plus ski and snowboard helmet is a high spec, lightweight and low profile helmet built for demanding users and offers supreme protection.

It features innovative MIPS technology which provides supreme protection from multi-angled impacts. Within the helmet, there is a low friction layer which enables movement between the outer shell and the head. When this technology is subjected to an angled impact, the outer shell rotates relative to the head, so more impact is effectively absorbed and directed away from the brain. This technology has been proven to reduce the forces on the brain by up to 40%.

The in-mold construction is created from a strong one-piece structure of polycarbonate on the outer shell and a fused EPS foam liner that absorbs shock. In-mold construction results in a low-profile modern look that is more comfortable to wear and lighter in general.

A Dual Active Venting System provides unparalleled ventilation, it has been shown to be not only the warmest helmet in extreme winter conditions but also the best ventilated, ideal for spring skiing. Not only this but the vents allow you to draw the warm air away from the goggles in order to prevent fogging, giving you crystal clear vision no matter how hard you're working.

A Micro Rotary Adjustment System allows quick and easy adjustment to the size and fit and the removable performance liner is vented and can be machine-washed to ensure you stay cool and fresh. Excellent hearing is guaranteed by Scott's 360° Pure Sound system which utilises micro-perforations in the ear pads to efficiently allow sound through.
