About the Shimoda Action X70 Adventure
The Action X70 from Shimoda Designs is the ultimate adventure photography backpack for photographers who like to move fast.
The X70 is the perfect size for adventures and urban explorations, removing the hassle and anxiety of carrying all your camera gear every day in difficult conditions. Being carry-on friendly with a removable waist belt and harness straps, the X70 is ready to take your adventure anywhere.
The Action X70 features the same modular carry system as all the bags across the Shimoda range. Featuring a very spacious main compartment that is the perfect size to fit a combination of available internal camera unit inserts*, there are near endless ways to pack your gear and everything you might need.
The intuitively designed strap system is there to create comfort no matter how heavy the load in the pack is. The ergonomic shoulder straps are wider where they rest against your chest, making it feel like the bag is hugging you; these straps have additional storage space and help to stop the load of the bag shifting on your back. The harness is also height-adjustable, meaning the comfort is the same no matter your torso size.
The bag has a large side opening that gives access to the main space of the bag without having to take the pack fully off. The rear opening allows unobstructed access to your gear and contains an EVA-padded opening which acts as added protection against the elements. The roll-top feature provides an additional 7 litre worth of storage should you need it and even when used the pack will maintain a tight and compact fit.
Your gear is always accessible thanks to the insane amount of storage options available. There are two pockets for tripods or water bottles, TPU ski straps, a phone pocket inside the shoulder straps and a mounted strap pocket for water bottles or other accessories. If that's not enough there is a 15’ padded laptop sleeve and external attachment points for a helmet.
The pack is designed for adventure photography, made from incredibly tough and durable weather-resistant nylon and features YKK splashguard zippers, meaning you don’t have to worry about your gear no matter where your adventure takes you.
