About the Smith Allure MIPS

The Allure is a female-specific version of the awesome Smith Maze and is one of Smith's most popular women's helmets thanks to its lightweight construction, low-profile fit and minimalist design. Whether you're cruising the slopes, charging the backcountry or shredding the park the Allure will perform day in, day out.

The Allure uses Smith's In-Mold construction which fuses a lightweight polycarbonate shell to impact-resistant EPS foam. This gives a high level of protection with minimal weight. The Allure also has Smith's Lifestyle Fit System which uses an elasticated strap to auto-adjust to any head size or shape giving a snug and comfortable fit every time.

The Allure comes with Airflow climate control which utilises strategically placed vents to ensure maximum comfort and temperature regulation in all conditions. AirEvac 2 ventilation also draws air from under the brim and channels it through the helmet, venting it out at the back. This means less chance of goggles fogging and better vision on the mountain.

The Snapfit SL2 ear pads are fully removable and are also compatible with most aftermarket audio drop-ins, meaning you can listen to music whilst riding. The Allure is fully beanie compatible meaning you can pull out the liner/ear pads and wear it with your favourite beanie for even more comfort and style.

This model comes complete with MIPS technology which reduces the rotational forces exerted on the brain during a collision and offers superior protection and injury prevention. This is done by creating a sliding layer between the outer shell and your head. During impacts, the rotational force is decreased reducing damage to the brain which is best to counter angled, rotational falls.
