The Altus Ski/Snowboard Helmet from the iconic Smith offers a lightweight in-mold construction that fuses the exterior shell and the EPS foam for a slick, one-piece design that is both lightweight and incredibly durable. With zonal Koroyd® coverage, the Altus helmet offers energy-absorbing and ventilated impact protection.

This model comes complete with MIPS technology which reduces the rotational forces exerted on the brain during a collision and offers superior protection and injury prevention. This is done by creating a sliding layer between the outer shell and your head. During impacts, the rotational force is decreased reducing damage to the brain which is best to counter angled, rotational falls.

Designed for the ultimate integration with Smith ski/snowboard goggles, the Altus helmet offers maximum comfort and incredible venting. Offering a total of ten vents throughout the helmet, the Altus offers Smith’s AirEvac™ ventilation system. This integrates with Smith goggles for both fog-free lenses and incredible ventilation throughout the entire helmet for unmatched comfort.

Featuring Smith’s VaporFit Snow™ dial adjustment system, the Altus helmet offers the perfect fit every time. Allowing a 270-degree fit adjustment with the simple turn of a dial that can be accessed even with gloves on.

The Altus comes with removable, audio-compatible ear pads and the XT2® antimicrobial lining, which offers sweat-activated odor control to keep your helmet fresh at all times!
