The Smith Scout is a tough, durable, and well-styled helmet designed for progressive users, with a lifestyle fit system that creates a comfortable fit whether wearing goggles over or underneath.

The Bombshell construction utilizes an injection-molded ABS shell with an EPS lining to keep you fully protected. This construction is extremely durable and impact resistant and provides exceptional protection from heavy impacts.

The Scout also incorporates Airflow ventilation which includes 8 strategically placed vents throughout the helmet to maximize airflow and keep you cool. This twinned with Smith's AirEvac 2 ventilation technology, which draws heat from the goggles via vents under the helmet's peak, means that your goggles will never fog up and will keep you comfortable all day long. If you prefer to wear a beanie underneath your helmet you can simply remove the ear pads and goggle clip and you're ready to go.

This model comes complete with MIPS technology which reduces the rotational forces exerted on the brain during a collision and offers superior protection and injury prevention. This is done by creating a sliding layer between the outer shell and your head. During impacts, the rotational force is decreased reducing damage to the brain which is best to counter angled, rotational falls.
