About the Swim Secure Tow Float

Visibility is key when swimming in both the sea and open water locations. The inflatable Tow Float increases the swimmer's visibility to other water users and emergency personnel.

The Tow Float from Swim Secure is pulled behind the user whilst swimming. Attached to the swimmer via a waist belt and short leash, it floats out of the way of your arms and legs, providing you with freedom of movement while traversing bodies of water.

Constructed from highly durable PVC the Tow Float is resilient enough to cope with corrosive seawater and aggressive sand. A value on the front of the Float provides ease of inflation while a reverse value cap is used to deflate the device.

Designed to have virtually no drag, the ultra-light Tow Float features two inflation chambers for added safety and redundancy in the water. In the event, one chamber fails in use, the secondary chamber will keep the float above the water.

With basically no restrictions to the user, the Tow Float from swim secure is an ideal companion for both, open water swimming events, triathlons and endurance events where Tow Floats are compulsory.

In addition for competition use the Tow Float is ideal for recreational swimmers and children heading out into open water, as the device provides improved visibility should you get into trouble. It is better to have the device and not need it than need it and not have it.

Please note: this is not a buoyancy aid, it does not give any buoyancy whilst swimming. The tow-float floats behind the swimmer on a short leash.
