About the Infuse Hybrid Boa
At the top of Vans' 2016 snowboard boot line, the Infuse mixes classic Vans style packed with features and tech for a high end all mountain boot.
It's hybrid closure BOA system uses laces from top to bottom with the a BOA closure system that specifically surrounds your instep area to pull your foot back into the boot and give a secure fit. This combination holds your foot much tighter than that of just have a traditional lace system and allows you to make adjustments on the go without having to fully undo your laces. Vans' Custom Slide Guide is an anatomically shaped pad that can be moved along the BOA closure system to provide added comfort along the instep area and provide maximum heel hold.
Riders have the option to custom tune the flex of these boots thanks to Vans' Flex Control System. By choosing the arrangement of the two removable internal tongue stiffeners, the rider can choose to maximize support by leaving both in, increase lateral and medial response just using one, or for a softer boot with more flex remove both. This gives you the option of a softer flexing boot that is great for all mountain riding and a medium/stiff boot that is great for freeride and backcountry riding. The Flex Control System also ensures a consistent and smooth flex without the boots shell interfering.
The Infuse has Vans' top liner - the Custom-X Thermal Liner which is fully heat moldable for a perfect fit. The integrated internal support harness keeps your foot locked down to eliminate heel lift and maximise response and control.
Finished off with a full leather upper that is treated to give a durable, waterproof upper that looks amazing, V-Cork UltraCush Footbed, V-Hex Outsole and breathable valves, the Infuse is a must have boot for advanced riders who want customisable performance.

- Custom-X Thermal Liner - Dual density heat moldable liner for a comfy, consistent fit. The C-Cage and integrated harness around the ankle gives a really dialled in hold, eliminating heel lift. The closed micro suede cuff and cushioned interior lining ensure the Infuse is comfortable and warm for a full days riding
- V-Cork UltraCush Lite Footbed - Vans' top footbed has triple density EVA foam, a compression molded cork and EVA arch support, impact relief pads and Nano-Tex coating to prevent smelly boots!
- V-Hex Outsole - UltraCush construction for lightweight performance and an ImpactSorb dampening section in the heel. Aggressive, tacky tread pattern gives grip in all conditions whilst the TPU arch gives additional foot support
- Flex Control System - Removable tongue stiffeners allow you to customise the boots flex between standard support, medial support, lateral support and full support. These also adjust the boots flex pattern from a softer more all mountain flex to a stiffer freeride flex
- Instep Flex Zones - Flex zones prevent the shell from intruding on the boots flex pattern
- Double-Posted Gripping Lace Hooks - Easy to lace up and keeps your laces locked in place
