The Volkl Deacon ski range takes over from the popular RTM, The Deacon XTD is geared towards progressing intermediate skiers looking to take on all piste conditions.

With a waist width of 76mm the Deacon XTD sits firmly withing the piste category. A wider piste rockered tip helps you smoothly engage each turn so you will be flowing down the piste with little effort, the width and rocker of the tip also helps deal with any chopped up or slushy snow that might come your way.

The Deacon 79 is ideal for intermediates looking to progress or even light weight advanced skiers who don't need the race style construction you find in the highest end piste models. This is helped by the Centre sidewall construction Volkl have created, this gives you plenty of grip and strength underfoot where you need it most but keeping the tip and tail lightweight and easy to
manoeuvre for a highly responsive ski that still offer's the performance and stability you need for developing your technique and gives you confidence when you take them on some of the more challenging runs the mountain has to offer.
