About the Volkl Rise Beyond 96
The new Rise Beyond 96 ticks all the boxes for the ever growing free tour category, with touring growing ever more popular the Rise beyond is designed to perform in and outside of the resort boundary's. With its tip rocker, the widest model in the touring collection delivers fantastic flotation even in the softest powder descents.
The Tourlite hybrid wood core in combination with the carbon tip shovel enables a very light and resilient construction, which makes the skis a reliable partner on long ascents. Thanks to the 3D radius construction, the lively ski is an absolute dream in wide, open powder turns as well as in narrow passages where excellent agility is required.
Whilst this ski is by no means a charger we recommend the Rise Beyond 96 for advanced skiers looking for a light and agile freeride ski they can take off the beaten track for a day of touring but that is also just as happy roaming and exploring in resort.
- Tourlite Woodcore - Use of two woods for different areas of the ski. Beech is used underfoot to provide stability and secure screw retention. Poplar plus Paulownia at either end provides resilience and snap
- Tip - Rocker at the tip with a camber provides stability and performance on hard pack with float and easy of use
- 3 Radius Sidecut - Three radii in one ski for maximum turning & speed versatility in all mountain skiing
- Smart Skin Clip - A Skin clip system which offers the rider more flexibility. The skin can be attached and take off from both the tip and tail of the ski.
