About the Wild Country Syncro
The burly beast of Wild Country's range the Syncro is the high-capacity multi-pitch harness that allows you to remain comfortable when embracing the vertical.
A brand new design makes the Syncro superior in versatility and comfort, without compromising on support and ventilation. With an array of gear loops, the Syncro allows you to carry an arsenal of gear to tackle big wall projects while remaining reasonable in terms of base weight.
Constructed with an extremely comfortable padded and armoured with robust abrasion-resistant Ripstop for durability, Syncro provides climbing with a combination of exceptional durability, flexibility and weight distributions for free-hanging and belaying at elevation. The contoured hip belt and leg loops minimise the risk of pressure points for all-day climbing comfort. Air Mesh is incorporated into the lumbar region for increased breathability meaning you can climb without sweat distracting you.
Wild Country have also included a reinforced lower tie in point with a wear indicator. Red threads become visible after excessive wear and excessive abrasion, this allows you to visually see when the harness requires replacement. Beefy slide block buckles on the 25 mm webbing waist belt and on the 20mm webbing leg loops can be fully opened to make the harness easier to put on when wearing skis or crampons - making the big wall beast a dextrous alpinist touring piece. Combined with two slots for carrying ice stools or screw holders along with a large rear haul loop, embrace the alpine with the Syncro.
The Syncro features six gear loops: two rigid front loops and four softer loops at the back. The array provides a range of racking options and allows for compartmentalisation of gear. The loops are specifically designed for equipment retrieval and twin buckles at the waist allow for centering of the bridge for greater climbing comfort. The unisex design makes the Syncro highly versatile for group use.
