The Intrepid RR Men's Approach Shoe from Zamberlan is the ultimate choice if you are after a lightweight walking shoe for scrambling, technical approaches and via ferrata. With a Hydrobloc suede upper, the Intrepid RR is soft to the touch whilst being durable and water repellent. It is lined with polyester mesh, which allows your feet to breath and helps to promote airflow through the shoe. This shoe also has a 3mm nylon footbed that works with the dual-density molded EVA midsole to provide extra comfort and cushioning underfoot.

The Intrepid RR has a Vibram Raptor sole that offers superior grip: it has a climbing zone under the toes, and features specifically designed lugs for extra traction during technical ascents and scrambles. This approach shoe also comes with rubber toe reinforcements to protect your feet and provide extra durability.

As a technical shoe, the Intrepid features Zamberlan's Via Ferrate fit. This means that there is reduced volume around the instep as well as a thin, tapered toe box. Alongside the pronounced heel-to-ankle line, these shoes are designed to have a snug, close fit to enhance performance across challenging, technical terrain.
