The Basement Bib from thirtytwo is back for the 2020 season and is better than ever. A favourite among thirtytwo's many amazing team riders, this classic bib overall is one of the most popular ski/snowboard pants on their range, and with it's impeccable styling and a sweep of awesome features, it's easy to see why.
The Basement is built with 32 Repel 2-layer Water Repellent Technology that'll keep you warm, dry and comfortable wherever you're riding. With a 10,000mm waterproof rating it's got plenty of protection to keep the moisture at bay all season long. An additional 10,0000gm of breathability regulates your body temperature and ensures you stay comfortable in any conditions. When things get warm, mesh-lined venting on the inner legs can be opened to promote air flow and keep your temperature regular.
With a high rise around the chest, large chest pocket and off-coloured knee panels, the Basement bib has a classic work-wear overall style that looks awesome whether worn over a hoody or underneath your outerwear jacket. It doesn't just look the part though; this bib is just as super tough and durable as a classic pair of work pants. Made with rugged Dura-stretch ripstop fabric with triple-stitch reinforced seams throughout, this bib will stand up to seasons of wear and tear, no matter how hard you ride them. A reinforced butt-patch will keep those sensitive spots covered and comfortable during those long windy rides up the chairlift, and a reinforced hem and kick panel will reduce the damage dealt by constant strapping in and out of bindings.
Bibs are a solid leg-wear choice for many skiers and snowboarders, and not least because they look awesome however you wear them! The high rise is well suited to riding in powder and wet conditions and will prevent snow from getting where you don't want it, even if you take a tumble (hey, it happens). It also functions as an extra layer around the body's core that'll keep you cosy during those really cold days in the mountains. For warm-weather riding, this bib will look sick when worn over your favourite hoody and will keep you safe from springtime slush sprays getting down your pants. The over-should straps ensure that everything stays right up where you want it when you're getting technical in the park or laying out those perfect carves.
Altogether, the Basement sets the benchmark for bib styling and construction. It's classic outerwear looks with workwear durability and rider-driven design make it a stand-out item in thirtytwo's range of ski and snowboard pants. For skiers and snowboarders seeking timeless style with season's worth or wearability, the Basement Bib is an indisputable choice!

If you do back country than these are a must. Nothing worse than rag dolling down a hill and finding that your trousers have filled with snow. These keep all the snow out and aren't restricting at all. I also use them in the park on warmer days with a thin jumper or a t shirt and they work great. They've also got loads of pockets. Im 6ft3 and i found the large size slightly to big for me but still usable. So maybe worth sizing down if you getting a large.
