About the Jones MTB
The thirtytwo Jones MTB snowboard boots have been redesigned for 2021, with Jeremy Jones and 32 working closely to produce a revolutionary boot tailored for hiking and split boarding performance.
The MTB boots feature a redesigned Walk Mode Collar, which utilises the ultra-reliable BOA TX3 lace, giving you a longer stride for easier ascension and is much better for your knees when split boarding or hiking.
To ensure your feet are warm and dry when you get to the top of the mountain and strap in, the MTB uses a Moulded Rubber Toe Cap, Taped Seams and a newly designed, easy entry Full-Zip Gaiter which protects your laces from freezing over.
The MTB uses thirtytwo's premium Elite Liner package. This includes a breathable, supportive injection moulded foam liner that will not degrade over time and will provide the same comfort and support all season long. This liner also features high rebound energy foam, is 100% heat mouldable and has a customizable heel hold kit. On top of this, the Elite footbed features a cushioning moulded energy foam construction and has adaptive arch support allowing you to get the perfect fit for your foot.
For 2021 the MTB has been updated, with an aggressive outsole which is much lighter than the previous model without losing out on performance. The MTB boot also features crampons welts so that if you need to attach crampons and scale uneven terrain you can attach them straight onto your snowboard boots.

- Walk Mode Collar - A BOA cuff release system on the rear of the boot. This allows the boot to be used more effectively when hiking and split boarding by increasing the stride length and reducing fatigue on the knees
- Vibram Outsole - This insole is created in cooperation with respected sole maker, Vibram. Newly designed tread pattern which has drastically reduced weight
- Taped Seams - The boot has taped seams to prevent unwanted moisture getting in, also helping to improve overall durability
- Easy Entry Full-Zip Gaiter - Fully sealed boots with a hard-wearing waterproof gaiter that protects your feet and prevents your laces from freezing up as well
- Elite Fit - Thirtytwo's premium fit system, featuring their Elite Liner, Footbed, Harness and flex control. This has customizable heel hold pockets and a moulded heel cradle for greater support, intuition heat-moldable liner and footbed for that personalized fit, customizable boot flex inserts and adaptive arch support. The taller harness also provides superb heel hold, support and comfort.
- 100% Heat Moldable Intuition Liners - All thirtytwo liners are heat-moldable. This means you can either simply ride in your new boots, and the liners will mold themselves using the heat your feet naturally expel, or if possible, you can come into our snowboard store for a professional, personalized heat molding session with our fully trained staff to give your liners that perfect and instant custom fit.
- Molded Rubber Toe Cap - Extremely tough toe cap to protect your toes combined with a super tough and hardwearing outsole.
- Crampon Welts - Welts/Slots on the boot to accommodate crampons over the boot for serious backcountry expeditions
