About the Adidas Busenitz

Designed in collaboration with team skateboarder Dennis Busenitz, the Adidas Busenitz is a durable, flexible, and comfortable skate shoe that is perfect for everyday wear.

The Adidas Busenitz retains the retro feel of the iconic Copa Mundial, a football boot first released in the 1970s, whilst incorporating features that make it an outstanding skateboarding shoe nearly fifty years later. Instead of leather, a luxurious suede upper is combined perfectly with a nylon quarter to give the trainer an almost two-tone look. A molded Adiprene sock liner and an anti-slip Geofit collar maintain a comfortable and stable fit all session long.

Designing these shoes around his own skating style, Dennis decided to incorporate a capsule to allow a true board feels and precise control without compromising resilience and protection from harsh landings. Also, in a bid to end all plastic waste, 20% of the pieces used to make the upper are made with a minimum of 50% recycled content.
