About the Adidas Busenitz Vulc Ii
It's difficult to top a remarkable and legendary debut shoe, but Adidas and Dennis Busentiz have managed to create an even comfier, stylish, and hard-wearing sequel that now features a vulcanised rubber sole.
This revamped version still retains the retro feel of the iconic Copa Mundial, a football boot first released in the 1970s, whilst incorporating features that make it an outstanding trainer for skating and streetwear nearly fifty years later. A timeless design now boasts a resilient premium suede upper, a Geofit padded collar for a first-class fit and comfort, and Adiprene under the heel for superior cushioning and protection on impact. A moulded Adiprene sockliner helps secure a stable fit all session long, whilst a reinforced Adituff toe box won't let you down should you need to come to a grinding halt.
Dennis designed these shoes around his own skating style and introduced a lightweight, flexible vulcanised outsole that provides a true boardfeel, enabling precise control and facilitating tricks and flicks. Complete with the world-famous three stripes and gold lettering, these low-profile, high-performance cushioned trainers are perfect for the park as well as everyday city wear. An enhancement on a shoe already considered a modern classic, surely the Vulc II's are too good for Busenitz to remain a one-hit-wonder?
