The Hybrid WaveCel is a revolutionary ski/snowboard helmet from Anon, containing technology that breaks new ground in helmet safety.

Whilst your standard foam helmet will protect you from direct impacts, Wavecell has been developed with the reality in mind - that impacts during snow sports are unpredictable and can come from any angle. WaveCel consists of a collapsible cellular structure that absorbs the force of an impact before it reaches your head. But what makes this technology unique is the cell's ability to flex, crumple and glide depending on the angle that it is hit.

Rigorous testing has shown that using helmets containing WaveCel instead of standard EPS foam reduces in the likelihood of suffering concussion by 48 times. In addition, Wavecel helmets absorb up to 73% more rotational acceleration to the brain than a standard helmet.

The Hybrid Wavecel also features Anon's Hybrid Multi-Piece Shell Construction which combines the best of a durable, ding resistant endure-shell with a low profile, featherweight, in-mould, polycarbonate shell. This reduces the weight and profile of the helmet while still retaining maximum protection.

Active ventilation allows you to control the amount of airflow via 17 integrated vents. When you're hot slide open the vents for easy and effective cooling and on colder days slide the vents closed to retain warmth.

The innovative Fidlock closure makes clipping in super simple, with a magnetic snap buckle so you can secure the helmet quickly while wearing gloves or with one hand.
