About the Anon Omega MIPS
The 2018 Omega MIPS helmet from Anon is a hard wearing lid constructed for season after season of knock around wear and tear while remaining the pinnacle of reliable protection. MIPS stands for Multidirectional Impact Protection System, so you know you're getting incredible protection for your dome.
The MIPS system works by having an added film layer that slides with your head upon impact. This provides more protection against angled impacts and helps to negate the rotational forces which occur from these impacts, which often cause head injuries.
The active ventilation allows you to control the amount of airflow via 15 integrated vents. When you're hot, slide open the vents for easy and effective cooling, on colder days slide the vents closed to retain warmth. The goggle ventilation channel also ensures you won't fog up by drawing warm air away from the inside of the goggle.
The liners and ear pads of the Omega are lined in low pill, long haired fleece which keeps you cosy and comfortable. The Fidlock snap helmet buckle is adujstable to help you get the perfect fit and right amount of protection and can be closed or opened with one hand.
The simple fit design makes removing the ear pads smooth which is great if you want to run a beanie or goggles underneath and you can remove the goggle clip too. The 360° Boa system also guarantees a perfect fit to your head.
This helmet is also audio compatible with most aftermarket Audio Drop Ins.
For an excellent ventilated helmet that is super comfortable and proivdes as much protection as possible the Omega stands above all else.
