About the Arbor A Frame

The 2020 A-Frame is a big mountain snowboard from Arbor that provides a super stable ride at high speeds. Redesigned for the 2020 season, with Arbor's System Camber, this snappy board is perfect for carving around the mountain and any freeride focused riders will love it.

The A-Frame uses Arbor's Highland II Core, which uses the very lightest and highest quality paulownia resulting in a lighter, more responsive version of their standard Highland Core, a highly durable core with consistent flex and response. Arbor have combined this core with a combination of triax and biax glassing, which offers great versatility.

Arbor have included Grip Tech in the A-Frame's design; a tri-radial sidecut design that provides extra contact between the snow and edge for additional grip when more control is needed. The extra contact also forms pivot zones that make turning easier and more natural.

The A-Frame takes its name from the RWD Carbon fibre inserts that run diagonally from under the back foot inserts out to the contact points. These inserts increase snap and rebound under your back foot for amazing power transfer.

The Topsheet of the A-Frame is a combination of Arbor's Bio-plastic Topsheet; made fro Castor Oil, it is extremely durable and water repellent, and their American Black Walnut Powerply topsheet which acts as another layer of fibreglass in the boards lay up while looking great.

Arbor are committed to reducing their environmental impact and their Entropy Bio Resin was introduced to the line for this season. It is a replacement for petroleum based resin and provides the same high performance.

The A-Frame is fast charging board for experienced riders who are looking for a board to take all over the mountain, with a particular eye on carving and trips into the powder.
