Reluctant to go the full ????? review but so far so good. I recently ended up with these shoes following the abject failure of two competitors waterproof footwear not even coping with walking through wet grass a few inches high!
So, with that in mind, absolutely delighted to say no such issues here. Also, a very pleasing looking piece of footwear generally - really nice soft blue leather upper coupled with a superbly grippy vibram sole. Has coped with the terrain and weather [inc. Storm Bert!] while also being comfortable out of the box and feeling good after approx. 20-miles, so far.
Fingers are crossed that waterproof properties remain for the seasons ahead but pretty content given the pain of getting to this point.
PS: Particularly love the idea of the potential for a resole down the line too. Not only environmentally aware but, in theory, confident of relative longevity of the uppers too.
