For the 2020 season Atomic have updated their highly regarded Vantage all mountain range. This model is one of Atomic’s most versatile offerings and is a great choice for someone looking to adventure all over the hill without changing skis.
In recent years brands have been focusing on removing material to reduce weight, the hard part has been ensuring performance is not only compromised, but continually improved. Prolite is Atomic's answer to this problem.
Prolite consists of a metal mesh layer that can be seen running through the centre of the ski, this is complimented with sturdy wood and composite sections underfoot and toward the edges where more strength and stability is required, reinforcing only in key zones.
Energy Backbone and Carbon Tank Mesh combine to deliver high strength and light weight to help you ski stronger. Full Sidewall adds stability and enables direct power on whatever you’re skiing – whether it’s slashing and bashing through the soft stuff or carving down the corduroy
The Vantage 97 C features an all mountain rocker profile, subtle rocker in the tips and tails prevents catching in soft snow and powder. The 97mm width makes these skis super versatile, and they’re perfectly placed to float in fresh snow as well as rip on piste.
- Prolite - Atomic's new weight reduction technology; the rigid Tank Mesh allows unnecessary material to be milled from the middle sections of the ski to keep weight down and increase agility
- All Mountain Rocker - 75% camber underfoot provides stability and power with 15% rocker in the nose and 10% rocker in the tail, for easier turn initiation, better float, and less hook ups in soft snow
- Carbon Tank Mesh - A layer of Carbon mesh which adds a huge amount of strength to provide excellent stability and tortional stiffness
- Energy Backbone - Runs alongside the edges of the ski to bring greater power transfer and grip to to the edges
- Full Sidewall- Sidewall runs throughout the ski for maximum power and grip
- Light Woodcore -Lightweight poplar wood gives high performance sporty ride but keeps the skis light and easy to manoeuvre
- Directional Shape - This shape makes forward riding strong and powerful, the Vantage range has been given a flat tail to increase firm snow performance
