The 2021 Bataleon Surfer Limited Edition snowboard packs some serious power that will have you throwing pow like crazy. The ultra wide 3D nose and deep cut offer effortless float on the deepest of powder days. With only 150 made and delivered in a custom sleeve, you will be envy of the mountain lift line.
The Surfer Ltd uses Bataleon's Pow 3BT profile; a narrow centre base that provides exceptional edge to edge performance, with more sidelift in the giant 3D nose, it's super easy to keep the nose up in pow and easy turn in all conditions. The swallowtail sinks into deep snow & provides power on groomers, this has been complimented with a mellow cambered body throughout the board making The Surfer incredibly smooth riding, poppy and versatile to any snow conditions.
SideKick™ dramatically increases the sidebase uplift at the widest points of the nose and tail. This makes turn initiation even smoother, increases float in powder and handling of the board in rough terrain. It has to be ridden to be believed!
The Surfer Ltd has a brand new core, Bataleon's Super Ultra Light, an 80-20 blend of Swiss paulownia & poplar woods for the best strength to weight ratio which provides a responsive underfoot ride that feels like you're floating when in powder. Wrapped with Bataleon's own special blend Triax Plus fibreglass & enhanced with carbon stringers running strategically into the nose & tail. This creates a responsive ride that will stand up to any line you choose.
New for 2021, the AirRide™ core additive dampens vibration, making for a smoother ride at high speeds. Part of the wood core has been milled out and replaced with fibreglass, the resulting reduction in vibration makes it feel like the board has a suspension system.
The Surfer Ltd set back inserts will keep you ready for riding nose high on the mega deep pow dumps, set back your stance & take away that back leg burn so you can lap all day long.
