You can also upgrade a winter Bern Macon helmet for summer use by adding a Bern Summer Liner (sold separately). Bern winter liners also come in Audio versions, so you can listen to your tunes while you ride. More information can be found in the Bern Go all season guide.

The Macon is Bern's core all season helmet that can be upgraded and used all year round for skate, bike and snow sports. The Macon is a further evolution of the Bern Watts helmet but comes without the peak for a lower profile, clean style. All over venting helps keep you cool on hot summer or winter skate sessions, long cycle rides or laps through the park. The Macon features easily adjustable straps and a secure chin strap buckle for a comfortable fit. The liners can be easily removed as they're secured into the helmet with tough poppers and velcro. This means you can easily wash the liner to keep your helmet staying fresh.

The Bern Macon comes in two constructions; Thin Shell (EPS) and Hard Hat (Brock Foam). Check out the pros and cons. We recommend the Thin Shell EPS construction as it comes with a CE certification.
