About the Bern Muse Hard Hat

This is the winter Bern Muse Hard Hat. The summer version is also available HERE.

You can also upgrade a summer Bern Muse Hard Hat for winter use by adding a Bern Winter Liner (sold separately). These winter liners also come in Audio versions, so you can listen to your tunes while you ride. More information can be found in the Bern Go all season guide.

To use this as a skate or bike helmet simply remove the winter liner as the Hard Hat model comes with a built in summer lining that isn't removable.

The Bern Muse is the original peaked visor helmet for women based on the hugely popular men's Bern Baker helmet. Like the Baker, the Muse is one of the most iconic and recognisable helmets out there and can be seen being worn by hundreds of pro athletes. The Muse's patented peak is designed to keep the sun, snow and rain out of your face making it the ideal helmet for concrete and snow sports. The Muse has no vents giving it a unique style that's instantly recognisable. It also features easily adjustable straps and a secure chin strap buckle. The liners can be removed as they're secured into the helmet with tough poppers and velcro. This means you can easily wash the liner to keep your helmet fresh.

The Bern Muse comes in two constructions; Thin Shell (EPS) and Hard Hat (Brock Foam). Check out the pros and cons. Please be aware however that this is not classed as a 'helmet' as it does not meet the CE certification for concrete, bike and snow sports. It does meet the standards for watersports.
