About the Black Diamond Rubber Tech Tips

Ideal for use on hard surfaces or rocky trails, the Black Diamond Rubber Tech Tips are noise-reducing and non-marking, meaning you can avoid rock and trail scarring.

These work as replacement tips for Black Diamond spring 2012 and later only trekking poles and all model Z-poles. They do not work with First Strike, Trail Back, Syncline poles. Sold in pairs.

A brilliant item, these were a replacement so I knew what I was getting as my poles have given my years of untroubled use. A++++

I attached these new to my trekking poles for a 3 day hill-walking trip in Torridon, North West Scottish Highlands. I wanted extra grip on rock, avoid the annoying noise that the metal tips make and rock scarring. After 3 days they were worn through to the metal. They are simply not robust enough for hard walking on rough ground. Fine for around town and walks on soft ground but no use for any rougher stuff.
