About the Black Diamond Storm+ Headlamp

What is the Black Diamond Storm+ Headlamp good for?

This headlamp is engineered for technical mountain activities requiring reliable illumination across varied terrain and weather conditions. It's built for alpinists, climbers and backcountry users who need dependable lighting performance in challenging environments. The Storm+ works well in multi-pitch climbing scenarios, alpine ascents, and extended backcountry expeditions. It handles precipitation and dust exposure whilst maintaining performance across night approaches, technical descents, and camp activities.

The IP67 waterproof and dustproof sealed housing withstands immersion up to one metre for 30 minutes, ensuring reliable function in severe weather conditions. Two oversized buttons provide ease-of-use in all conditions with gloved hands, enabling precise control without removing gloves during technical operations. The patented digital lockout feature safeguards against accidental use when stored in a pack or pocket, preventing battery drain during transport. In addition, the mode memory feature allows you to turn the light on and off at your designated brightness for consistent operation. The Storm+ also features USB-C pass-through with battery power indicator for efficient power management.

Black Diamond's extensive climbing and mountaineering heritage ensures this headlamp meets technical user requirements for demanding mountain environments.
