About the Boreal Joker Plus

An updated version of Boreal's most popular long-route and beginner shoe the Joker, the Joker Plus comes with all the features we loved from the Joker with upgrades in all the right places. It features a new super-comfortable semi-asymmetric last with a slimmer fitting heel and low tension rand.

The Joker Plus has three hook-and-loop closure straps that oppose each other meaning the fit can be cinched shut with convenience and avoid air pockets with accuracy. The addition of Boreal's HFS (Heel Fit System) cups the heel for better fit and increased precision. This, combined with Boreal's Cushioned Heel System where shock-absorbing EVA is added under the heel acts together to dampen impacts from falls and walk-offs.

A new stiffer midsole helps provide support while edging, and the sticky and durable Zenith Quattro rubber provides the ideal blend of durability and friction.

The Joker Plus is ideal for comfortable all-day climbing. Longer routes in the mountains, full days at the crag and extended training sessions; all the pleasure without the pain.
