Evoc is known for its world-leading body armor, backpacks, travel cases and luggage, catering primarily to the snowboarding, skiing and mountain biking communities. Evoc's origin story is rooted in the personal experiences of its co-founder, Holger Feist. In 1999, Feist suffered a back injury from an avalanche shovel while filming a snowboarding video, leading to create the brand's signature protector backpacks with integrated back protection. The following year, his frustration with damaged equipment during travel prompted the development of Evoc’s acclaimed bike travel bags. For years, Feist made these products for his own use and for friends. The demand, however, began to grow. The turning point came in 2008 when Bernd Stucke took one of the travel bags him to a bike shop in Hong Kong. The shop owner, impressed by the design, immediately ordered 50 of them. This was the moment Feist and Stucke realized they had a viable business.

Evoc quickly expanded its product range beyond the original two concepts and applied the same design philosophy - high-quality materials, smart functionality and a focus on protection - to other products for mountain bikers and snow sports enthusiasts. This included a wider range of backpacks (with and without protectors), luggage, travel bags, and protective wear like knee pads and vests.
