The Moon climbing company was set up by professional climber Ben Moon. Moon sells a range of climbing gear and clothing aimed primarily at bouldering, training and general climbing, with fingerboards, crash pads / mats, bolt on holds, screw on holds, climbing bags, chalk bags and climbing chalk all in Moon’s product range.

Moon climbing gear is built with a deep understanding of what climbers need and a focus on the essentials. Moon climbing clothes are designed for freedom of movement and durability, using materials that can stand up to the abrasion of rock. Moon’s bouldering mats are known for their high-quality foam and robust construction, providing a safe and reliable landing for climbers of all levels.

Ben got into climbing when he was just 7 years old on holiday in the Lake District. Though none of his family were climbers, their holidays always involved mountains and beaches. Over 50 years on, his love of the outdoors has only grown. Not only does Ben appreciate exploring the outdoors, but he is very aware of the current environmental issues we face. Moon is incredibly sustainable and is always looking for ways to improve. Some of their methods include using organic fabrics, recycled fabrics and water-based dyes where possible, simple and functional design reducing material usage and increasing product durability. 1% of Moon’s gross sales revenue is donated to environmental charities.
