The Burton Custom Snowboard is still the most dominant camber snowboard to date and is tried and tested by many of the world's top riders. Anyone who has ridden the Burton Custom will argue that it's one of the best all-mountain freestyle rides to experience, a board that offers true all-mountain versatility.
The Custom comes with a Super Fly II 700G Core. This is Burton's mid-range core which provides the best combination of strength, power, precision, pop and ultimately - fun! Weighing in at just 700 grams, this is one of the lightest cores on the market but boasts an impressive strength-to-weight ratio, giving the Custom the flex and ride that it's known for.
Added to this is Dualzone EGD and Squeezebox which keeps the board ready for anything and won't let you down. It is strong, durable, lightweight, and has great edge-hold keeping you planted and stable and enabling you to manipulate all your turns with incredible responsiveness and ease. Squeezebox tech is also great in all conditions making uneven terrain that much easier to ride.
45° Carbon Highlights reinforce the Custom's overall strength, keeping the board very lightweight and durable thanks to extra carbon strands. These also provide response for a more aggressive ride. The Custom adopts a traditional camber and Frostbite Edges for extra edge hold and plenty of pop. You will have tons of confidence to handle those tricky icy conditions thanks to the snowboard's superior grip.
Overall the Custom Snowboard is more tailored for intermediate to advanced riders and can demonstrate its ability all over the mountain. You name it and the Burton Custom will have conquered it.
- Super Fly II 700G Core - Stronger and lighter woods target specific areas of the core to provide pop, strength and reduce overall weight
- Dualzone EGD - The wood grain is positioned along the toe and heel edges in two continuous zones perpendicular to the rest of the wood core for consistent edge-hold and added strength
- Squeezebox Core Profiling - Burton's most versatile profile improves pop and performance through the balance of thicker, more powerful core sections with thinner, more flexible sections. Rider energy is transferred outward from beneath the feet, energizing the tip and tail while making the board snappier, more stable and easier to manipulate
- 45° Carbon Highlights - Carbon highlights optimize each layer of the fibreglass matrix and adds a full tip-to-tail carbon layer to reduce weight and fine tune torsional feel to achieve a more aggressive ride
- Frostbite Edges - Edges that extend out slightly beneath your bindings for tremendous edge-hold on hard, icy conditions. Powerful and playful for a smooth, flowing and forgiving ride
- Pro-Tip - A tapered tip and tail thickness reduces swing weight for easier mobility
- Sintered WFO Base - Infusing a specially formulated wax deep into the pores of this extra-absorbent, high-density sintered material results in an ultra-durable base tat's perfect for all conditions
- Infinite Ride - Burton break the board in at the factory to maximise pop and strength while maintaining flex and pop so it rides the same on day 1 as it does on day 100
- Super Sap Epoxy - A bio-based resin that reduces the carbon footprint by 50% compared to conventional epoxies
- The Channel - Rather than using a 4x4 system, Burton have introduced The Channel mounting system which allows you to fully adjust your stance width and angles. Your bindings will have to be compatible with the Channel and conversion discs can be bought separately. Burton offer a 3-year warranty on all boards with the Channel
- Directional Shape - The classic snowboard shape, designed to be ridden with a slightly longer nose than tail to concentrate pop in the tail while providing plenty of float, flow, and control to rip any terrain or condition
- Camber Bend - Advocates powerful turns and poppy precision, offering snappy suspension with weight distributed evenly across the entire board for smooth, continuous edge control from tip to tail
