Camp Pillows
Read More

Only the hardiest of wild back country backpackers will go without a camping pillow because a good night's sleep sets you up for the next day. Camp pillows are designed to be lightweight and portable whilst providing sufficient comfort and support for your neck and head to give a good night’s sleep. Unlike regular pillows, camping pillows are compact, durable and easy to pack for camping or backpacking. The smallest and lightest option is to use a stuff sack, filled with items of clothing or Tarpaulin but this is probably the least comfortable option. A better choice would be an inflatable camp pillow, which is not much heavier or bulkier but is likely to be far more comfortable. Next up on the comfort scale are compressible camp pillows - stuffed with synthetic fibers, foam or down for a more traditional pillow feel but on a much smaller scale. Nowadays you can get hybrid pillows which are both compressible and inflatable to give you the best of both worlds.
