The Apex from COROS aims to make the horror of charging or being out of juice a thing of the past. Capable of lasting up to 100 hours using GPS in UltraMax mode, the watch is capable of going as far as you can on ultra-endurance events. For daily use, Apex can yield up to 35 hours in normal mode and up to 30 days with regular usage.

The system then notifies you when it is recommended for you to rest based on the effort level and your training history. Designed around the mountains, Apex utilises GPS/QZSS, GLONASS and BeiDou allowing you to track your route and navigate in the mountains. Routes are uploaded and displayed on a grid as a bread crumb trail with real-time information on heading and elevation gain. If you go too far off track, Apex notifies you on how to get back onto course.

With the release of Apex, the Intelligent Stride Algorithm has been released with the product line. This unique system embodies machine learning allowing the device to record your personal range of motion while running. This will build your very own stride model that will be used for indoor running or areas of a weak GPS signal (such as in densely packed woodlands).

Capable of measuring lactate threshold, VO2 Max and HR, the COROS Trainer dials in your regular workouts everyday. This is then matched with your personal historical exercises and with metrics to calculate a perceived effort and recommend a time for a full recovery.

Take your workouts wherever you go. With COROS Training mode, create share and download workouts, allowing you to tailor a bespoke workout portfolio. Running, Cycling, Swimming and Strength training workouts can be accessed and tracked, select from more than 200+ preloaded exercises to create your ideal strength training session.

As good on the circuit as in the mountains. Unlike other smartwatches, COROS can accurately measure running distance on track events. With the new Track Run Mode, a proprietary algorithm, is used to make sure your track runs and workouts are measured accurately regardless of which lane you choose on a 400m track. It is one of the most accurate watches on the market for field runners.

Apex works with COROS's Performance Optimization DEvice to provide advanced running metrics in real-time, including power and form data allowing you to become a smarter more efficient runner.
