About the Demon Flex Force Pro

The Demon Flex Force Pro women's ski/snowboard impact shorts are one of the only shorts that supply you with fully wide protection areas, giving you full coccyx and buttocks protection over area's that you're most likely to hurt when falling on the slopes.

These shorts use shock absorbing, high density wide air shield foam padding over the hips, thighs and buttocks while a large heavy duty tailbone pad to protect your coccyx from impacts. This provides you with a high level of protection but relatively low level of bulk.

The pants are constructed primarily from a lightweight, breathable, athletic blend of lycra and mesh. The pants are fully ventilated to keep your body cool and comfortable.

Tested it on the icy slopes - hardly felt a thing - really falling with these on is no longer a pain in the ***! Of course - “does my bum look big in this?” - well yes, bigger than it did, you have padding. But not hugely bigger … but big enough to rip my trousers at the seams but not until the last day of the holiday so could have been a lot worse. After a very painful coccyx landing last winter I was worried about a repeat performance this year - these gave me the confidence to board for the entire week (and I’m in my 50s!)

They run extremely small! I'm usually a medium and I had to return for an extra large. Also the hip cushioning doesn't sit anywhere near my hip bones. I'm keeping them only because there's not really any alternatives. Strange because Demon products are usually excellent.

I ordered these armoured shorts for my girlfriend has a birthday present. She is a size 8 dress in everything she wears so I order a size XS which the size guide states as an 8. When they arrived, they were so small she couldn’t even get them on. So I ordered the size up and when they arrived, they were really tight on her. Also the quality of the product is ever so poor. The armour pads don’t sit in the same places on the left and right leg. The hip pads both sides don’t sit in the same position and the waist band does not sit straight. The toggles on the front to tie the shorts aren’t level and they won’t level. One side is so short you can’t even tie them up in a bow. I will be complaining about the quality of the products and I will be asking for a full refund of the product and the 2 x shipping costs to return items which don’t meet the description, nor the quality.

Good tail bone protection which is what I wanted, my wife has worn these with no complaints ?? usual size
