The Alproof series from Deuter is designed for backcountry adventurers looking to stay safe in the harshest of winter environments. With an array of features, this is the flagship avalanche airbag from Deuter to endure the rigors of backcountry riding.

The Alproof uses the latest in avalanche airbag safety technology with the fully electronic Alpride E2 system. The unit uses super capacitors to replace the traditional Li-ion battery, ensuring the airbag system is not sensitive to low temperatures, resulting in consistent performance from -30°C to +40°C.

With the new E2, the system provides fast, high-pressure deployment with relatively low maintenance and superior transport options compared to cartridge airbag systems. The status of the E2 can be easily checked via an LED display, and the trigger can be located on either the left or right shoulder strap for easy activation. Intuitive and easy to learn, the E2 system can be practiced pre-season to ensure safety in the mountains.

The Alproof series features Deuter's Alpine Back system, which provides a compact, snug fit while keeping the load close to the body for better carrying performance without compromising airflow. For stability in the mountains, a fully adjustable waist belt, along with shoulder straps, works to provide a comfortable fit for long journeys in powder. A leg safety strap is included and recommended to prevent the backpack from being ripped off during an avalanche. This leg strap is also easily secured without having to undo the waist belt.

The Alproof also includes an avalanche equipment safety compartment for quick access to lifesaving equipment. A reinforced shovel sleeve and organizer pockets ensure compartmentalization and durability. A zippered valuables pocket adds security, while a pass-through and bladder sleeve allow compatibility with hydration systems of up to 3L.

For carrying other gear, the Alproof features two stowable modular gear straps to attach skis in an A-frame configuration or a snowboard on the front. Ice axe and trekking pole attachments come as standard, and a removable detachable helmet bag facilitates transport during approaches.

Constructed from 420D PA Ripstop with a TPU backer, the Alproof is built to withstand the rigors of the backcountry. TÜV Süd GS certified, the pack adheres to the highest safety standards for extreme environments.
