The DMM Vertex ice axe delivers a technical mountaineering tool with a modular and refined geometry pick system for robust performance in challenging winter conditions and on a variety of terrains. A gently curved shaft provides excellent self-arrest performance, while a base spike provides grip and stability on snow and icy slopes.

A compact hammer offers efficient driving in pitons, while the durable anodised aluminium shaft allows plunging the axe into snow when on the move. The hot-forged head is comfortable to hold and the axe is weighted to allow a balanced swing and tethering points allow efficient clipping.
