The EB Strange climbing shoe has been designed for high-performance sport and bouldering. The midsole of the Strange delivers amazing edging power and stability thanks to the 1mm midsole that creates a supportive platform for your foot while the toe box uses a second softer horseshoe midsole for increased sensitivity and flexibility, which keeps the shoe incredibly versatile and perfect for demanding technical projects.
Constructed with an EVO microfiber upper that keeps the Strange comfortable, they will fit right out of the box with minimal stretch ensuring a long-lasting fit. The Strange also features a 5mm Daytona rubber sole for durability while the asymmetrical last and downturned profile drives power and precision to the toes even on tiny edges, smears, and microscopic nubbins.
EB finished off the shoe with an offset lacing system for a precise and secure fitting that pulls the shoe around your foot shape largely eliminating dead space. The offset lacing also makes space for a large rubber toe patch that sticks to edges and volumes even in awkward toe hooks. The heel on the Strange is highly tensioned which maintains the downturn shape of the shoe while locking onto your heel reducing the chance of the shoe slipping while heel hooking.
