Compact, lightweight and most importantly safe, the new Cable Comfort 6.0 is an updated design of Edelrid's Iron Ladder climbing kit. Combining a mixture of lower weight and economic compact design, the 6.0 line of Via Ferrata Sets provided unrivalled ease of use and dexterity.

As per the revised 2017 standard for Via Ferrata equipment, prior iterations of the Edelrid's Ferrata kits had become cumbersome in order to adhere to the new requirements of low impact forces for all weight categories and an extended braking distance of 2.2m. However, for the first time, the 6.0 line of kits utilise a new shock absorber that is more compact but still adheres to the European safety standard.

The latest iteration of the Cable Comfort, features a compact design with the new wear-resistant, elasticated webbing arms that adhere to the new EU safety standard. Slender in design the new arms improve dexterity as they offer subtle handing.

Featuring Edelrid's One Touch II carabiners, the units can be set and realise more effortlessly with one hand. Additionally, the design prevents fingers from getting pinched between the carabiner gate and a Ferrata's steel cable.

The comfort additionally features Edelrids integrated swivel, this unit prevents the ends from twisting when clipping and unclipping thus making your climb all the more comfortable.
